Clothes that touch you in fewer places
In mild weather you stop noticing fabric against skin within a minute. Above a certain temperature that stops being true, and it stops being true all at once — the shirt sits flat against the shoulder blades and stays there.
So we start with contact: how much of a garment rests on you, and where. Cut does most of that work, weave does the rest. Woven camp-collar shirts, knit polos, lightweight shorts — stocked and shipped from Florida.

we built this for the top of the range
Before anything else we look at how a garment hangs away from the body, because that is what decides whether it stays wearable at the top of the temperature range and not only at the bottom of it.
What our categories share is a cut philosophy rather than a look: room through the body, a shoulder seam that lands where the shoulder actually ends, and a hem that finishes cleanly. That is why pieces bought months apart still sit together.
A photograph cannot carry weight, drape or true color, so we close what we can and absorb the rest: flat measurements for every size, tracked shipping on every order, and a return that costs you nothing but the repacking.
Sizing Philosophy
“A medium should behave like a medium across everything we list. We record garment measurements flat and publish them on the size chart, so a fit that worked for you once can be repeated without guesswork. A fit that worked last season should still work when you reorder.”

what we've learned about heat and cloth
· Fit Guide
When a shirt does not fit, most people conclude they ordered the wrong letter and order the next one up. Sometimes that is the answer. More often the letter was fine and the problem sits in one specific place, and sizing up pushes that place further in the wrong direction while making everything else too big.
· Fabric Guide
Fiber content gets all the attention on a listing, and it answers less than people assume. Two shirts can both say one hundred percent cotton and behave nothing alike in heat...
· Styling
Warm-weather dressing gets complicated for one reason: there are fewer layers to hide behind. In cold months a jacket resolves most outfits. In heat, whatever you put on is the whole outfit...
· Care Guide
Most advice about looking after clothes assumes the enemy is dirt. For warm-weather clothing it usually is not. The things that finish off a summer shirt are sweat, antiperspirant, salt, and chlorine...
restocks, fit notes, nothing else
One email when something is back in stock, and one when we publish a fit or care guide. No sale countdowns, because we don't run sales — the number on the listing is the number you pay.
